Frequently asked questions
The trip starts and ends in Marrakech, so you should book a return flight to Marrakech International Airport (RAK). The first and last days are free to make arrivals and departures easier, so you can choose the flight times that work best for you.
We recommend bringing between €70 and €100 to cover meals and dinners not included, souvenirs, or personal expenses. You can bring euros or dollars, as you can easily exchange them for Moroccan dirhams during the trip.
Most travellers, including Spanish citizens and citizens of many other countries, do not need a visa for tourist stays in Morocco. However, we recommend checking with the Moroccan Embassy or Consulate in your country to confirm the entry requirements before travelling.
No, BUT this is a trip that involves many hours of riding, as we will ride for a minimum of 5–6 hours per day, so you need to have some stamina and, above all, a willingness to ride. The horses are assigned according to each rider’s level, and you will be accompanied by experienced guides.
During the trip, we will stay in three different types of accommodation, selected for their location and comfort. On the first day, we will have a room in Marrakech where we can leave our luggage and, while waiting for the group, explore the city. In the afternoon/evening, we will take a transfer of around 3 hours to Essaouira, where we will stay in a cosy hotel inside the medina, just a few steps from the beach. During the three-day horseback riding route, we will stay in a private villa with a swimming pool, surrounded by nature and with the horses right beside us. On the final night, we will return to a hotel in Marrakech to make the transfer to the airport easier. All rooms are shared double or triple rooms with other travellers from the group (men and women are never mixed) and include breakfast.
Of course! In fact, we encourage you to do so. Around 95% of our travellers come alone, and it’s one of the things that makes Born2Travel so special. We all share the same passion for horses and adventure, so the atmosphere is very welcoming from the very first day. It’s very common to go home with unforgettable memories… and new friends.
You can book directly through the booking section on this page by paying a €500 deposit. The remaining amount is due 30 days before departure.
