The trip begins in Hurghada, so you'll need to book your arrival flight to Hurghada International Airport. The journey ends in Cairo, where you can fly home from either Cairo International Airport or Sphinx International Airport, depending on what suits you best. During the trip, we'll take a domestic flight from Hurghada to Cairo. This flight is not included, and a few weeks before departure we'll send you an email with the recommended flight so the whole group can travel together. Prices are usually between €50 and €80. Yes. Most travellers can obtain a 30-day tourist visa on arrival at Egypt's main airports. The cost is approximately USD 30. After confirming your booking, we'll send you all the information you need to obtain your visa on arrival or, if you prefer, apply online through the Egypt e-Visa system before your trip. We also recommend checking your country's official travel advice for the latest entry requirements before travelling.
No. This trip is suitable for all riding levels. Riders are divided into two groups according to their experience, and horses are carefully matched to each rider's ability. Throughout the rides, you'll always be accompanied by experienced guides.
Absolutely! In fact, we highly encourage it. Around 95% of our travellers join the trip solo, and it's one of the things that makes Born2Travel so special. We all share the same passion for horses and adventure, so it doesn't take long for strangers to become friends. Most people return home with unforgettable memories... and lifelong friendships.
