Frequently asked questions
The trip begins and ends in Marrakech, so you'll need to book a return flight to Marrakech Menara International Airport (RAK). The first and last days are free to make arrivals and departures as flexible as possible, so you can choose the flight times that suit you best.
We recommend bringing between €70 and €100 to cover lunches and dinners not included, souvenirs and personal expenses. You can bring euros or US dollars, as both can be easily exchanged for Moroccan dirhams during the trip.
Most travellers, including Spanish citizens and visitors from many other countries, do not need a visa for tourist stays in Morocco. However, we recommend checking with the Moroccan Embassy or Consulate in your country to confirm the latest entry requirements before travelling.
No. This trip is suitable for all riding levels. Riders are divided into two groups according to their experience, and horses are carefully matched to each rider's ability. Throughout the rides, you'll always be accompanied by experienced guides.
Throughout the trip, we'll stay in three different types of accommodation, carefully selected for their excellent locations to make the most of each destination and minimize travel time. We'll spend the first and last nights in the heart of Marrakech, stay in a welcoming hotel inside Essaouira's charming medina, and during the two-day horseback trek, we'll sleep in a private villa with a swimming pool, surrounded by nature with the horses staying alongside us. Accommodation is in shared twin or triple rooms with fellow travellers (men and women are never mixed), and breakfast is included every morning.
Absolutely! In fact, we highly encourage it. Around 95% of our travellers join the trip solo, and it's one of the things that makes Born2Travel so special. We all share the same passion for horses and adventure, so it doesn't take long for strangers to become friends. Most people return home with unforgettable memories... and lifelong friendships.
You can book directly through the booking section on this page by paying a €500 deposit. The remaining balance is due 15 days before departure.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure are fully refundable. The trip requires a minimum of 5 participants. If this number is not reached, your full deposit will be refunded.
